Here's a brief overview of our mission's DNA -
YL Organization
In all 50 states & in over 100+ countries, Young Life has impacted millions in student outreach ministry since it's humble beginning in 1941, Gainesville, TX.
Surrounding the LAX area, Young Life Los Angeles serves thousands of kids with the help of hundreds of volunteers & a few dozen staff.
We have great leaders, staff, & donors. We need more of them.
Faith-Based Mentorship
Young Life is made up of leaders who had a positive mentor as a teen, or wish they had one. The impact of mentorship influences healthy relationships, social development, academic support, reduced risk & increased aspirations.
As followers of Jesus, we have a deep sense of identity & purpose in Christ. We share that in our relationships with kids, loving them regardless of their response.
Five C's
Club - A party with a purpose. Check out our Club tab for more info on that.
Campaigners - Like a teen Bible Study, but for kids that want to help lead.
Camp - YL Camp is a place that represents what life with Jesus is like.
Contact Work - We go where kids are. Meet them where they are in life.
Committee - Parents, teachers, & community peeps, who want to help.
We introduce the life & love of Jesus to kids in our community.
