2025 Year Wrapped!!

SO much has happened this past year!!! Here's a brief recap to catch you up to speed ...

Jake Laney was hired as the Acting Area Director to relaunch ministry
Committee Members united in prayer at Del Aire Park, Hawthorne & Da Vinci High
We met with admin & staff at Da Vinci High to share the mission of Young Life
We went to athletic games, plays, recitals, and even an Open House just to be present
We met 1-on-1 w/ business owners, nonprofits, churches, & former leaders to build trust
We recruited/trained new leaders & immediately sent one to camp for the first time
We re-established our online presence via social media & brand new website
We hosted 3 outreach events around the South Bay for the community & kids
We hosted 3 fundraising events to support our program re-launch
We had 2 on campus events at Hawthorne High School

LOOKING AHEAD TO 2026 ...

We're going all in on developing ministry at Hawthorne High School.
Jake is CVUHSD cleared as a Volunteer Coach for HHS Boys Volleyball.
Leader meetings have transitioned from strategy & vision to logistics & planning.
Teenagers are consistently being prayed for, by name, and for a purpose.
YL Camp trip is locked in for July 12th - 17th at Lost Canyon.
