Cowboy Club @ Denny's (March 9, 2026)

✅ Cowboy Club

Things got ROWDY at Cowboy Club!! We had 3 new faces join us!

Although not everything went to plan - we had a great time together, learning new games, laughing in the process, and talking about God's character of hope.

John 1:5 tells us that the LIGHT of Christ outshines the darkness & the darkness will not overcome it. We learned that sometimes an invitation is all it takes to shine a little light in someone else's darkness.

✅ HHS SENIOR NIGHT

SO PUMPED that we won our Senior Night game!!! It was a huge morale boost to the guys, sweeping Animo Leadership Charter! Team seniors - Dakota, Denis, Thomas, & Ruben were celebrated by the team with small gifts and we brought some Raising Canes for a celebratory post-game meal!

✅ Contact Work WINS

Leaders were intentional about connecting with students for coffee, food, & adventure. There's something special about conversations around the table. Doing life together, no agenda, is a lost art. Spontaneous invitations led to fulfilling experiences with seven of our students.

S/O to our leader Crystaaaaaaaaal!!!! She made the most of her contact work with our friends Jenny & Kim! What started as a simple invite to grab food, turned into so much more!

✅ Spring FUNraiser Launch

We had SO MUCH FUN "flocking" our first few houses with some of our students!!

None of us were quite sure how it’d go, but the FIRST house of the day was thrilled! She said she immediately thought of 3 people to pass it along to! So far, all of our flamingos have been received with joy & great a sense of humor.
